The Demand for Men’s Athletic Insights
As a participant in the Voice of the Athlete program, your insights are critical to the global men’s sportswear market.
Developing high-performance men’s gear requires rigorous quality control before it reaches retail stores.
We need dedicated male users who can provide detailed, honest feedback on durability, fit, and impact resistance.
Before we can match you with the right athletic gear, you need to understand the criteria and finalize your specific training category.
Tester Eligibility & Program Requirements
You do not need to be a professional athlete to participate.
Brands are actively seeking diverse demographics across the United States to test men’s products in everyday environments.
The standard requirements include:
Age & Compliance: Must be a male between 18 and 60 years old residing in the US (minors ages 13-17 require verified parental consent). Note: Active NCAA student-athletes must verify their specific divisional eligibility rules regarding promotional product testing before participating.
Activity Level: Must engage in regular physical activity, whether it is high-intensity interval training (HIIT), outdoor running, heavy weightlifting, or basketball.
Commitment: Must be willing to thoroughly document your experience and submit wear-and-tear logs during the trial period.
What Type of Men’s Prototypes Will You Test?
If selected, you will be paired with unreleased products that match the athletic profile you submit.
The inventory allocated for men’s testing typically falls into three premium categories:
Men’s Athletic Footwear: This includes running shoes with experimental cushioning, high-impact basketball sneakers, or rugged cross-training footwear.
Men’s Technical Apparel: Testers often receive moisture-wicking Dri-FIT tops, heavy-duty compression shorts, windbreakers, and muscle recovery base layers.
Performance Accessories: Additional gear such as thermal athletic socks, endurance gym backpacks, and weightlifting protective equipment.
How the Review Process Actually Works
Selected testers don’t just wear the products; they put unreleased prototypes to the test in real-world scenarios.
Whether you are evaluating the breathability of technical shirts during a marathon prep, testing the grip of cross-training shoes on the gym floor, or logging wear-and-tear data for new sports technology advancements, your feedback shapes the future of men’s sportswear.
In exchange for your detailed evaluation logs, you gain exclusive early access to premium athletic items.
Pro Tips for a Successful Application
Since testing spots for upcoming retail seasons are highly competitive, ensure your final application is precise.
Provide accurate clothing and shoe sizes, and be completely honest about your weekly exercise routine.
Brands prefer testers who will genuinely stress-test the products in the environments they were designed for.
